In recent years, Bangladesh has encountered intermittent occurrences of dengue epidemics, which have shown a rising intensity and significant repercussions for public health. According to DGHS and MoHFW,on 18 july 2023, 1533 patients were admitted to hospital due to dengue where a total of 127 fatalities has been report . It is important to comprehend the present situation and examine the many elements that contribute to the severity of dengue in order to develop efficacious measures for prevention and management. Based on the statistics presented by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) of Bangladesh, there has been a notable surge in dengue cases throughout the nation, marking an unusual occurrence in prior periods. The frequency of documented instances has seen a substantial increase, and the current state seems to be deteriorating on a daily basis.
